As soon as you can, follow these steps to update the iOS on your iPhone/iPad:
- Plug your device into a power outlet.
- Open the Settings app on your device.
- Navigate to ‘General’.
- Tap ‘Software Update’.
- If you are not running the latest iOS, you will see the newest update listed.
- Tap ‘Install Now’ or ‘Download and Install’. Depending on the size of the update, it could take several minutes.
